AltWed has begun - sometimes f2f and sometimes on Zoom.

About AltWed: 

The Seven Plus Network meets every Wednesday morning with a fortnightly pattern - one week is MeetUps and the other has been renamed as AltWed. It used to be called Zoom but we have decided that we will not always meet on Zoom - hence the new name. 

Today five of us met - Kevin, Lynne, Elaine, Carolyn, Russ.   

We have agreed on the following (unless we decide otherwise) 

• That we'd meet on Zoom next fortnight - and maybe vary our meeting places long-term - maybe seek out a permanent location for f2f. 
  

• That we'd focus on ongoing meaningful conversation - striking a balance between 
• (a) things that have emerged in the last fortnight (what's on our minds - areas where we might be able to support or help each other) and 
• (b) following up in more detail on threads or topics that we have agreed in advance.  things that some of us might have investigated.

• That we'd try to find ways to enable those who cannot attend to be able to take part in conversations - issues do not "get sorted" at one sitting. 
  
• Those who cannot attend regularly this year (Niki, Beth, Bron, Karen) might have ideas about how we can keep them in the loop. 
• Elaine is keen to explore how the blog might help with opening the conversations up to more people.
